Beyond Darkness | Christian Poem

I thought I could fly

when I fell.

I thought I could heal

when broken.

Through His wings,

I flew.

By His hand,

I healed.

Miserable and forgotten,

No! Not I!

Loved and by Him spoken

for, tis I!

Rain may come down

and drench the land.

But my home is dry

built on rock, not sand.

Where are you, darkness?

I see you flee.

Up beyond the mountain,

past the shimmering sea.

He’s coming soon.

You’ve heard the call.

Rocks will fall down,

your demise.

There’s nowhere you can hide.

nowhere.

(NIV) 1 Corinthians 15:55, “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”

How is God your anchor in the storm? Where is He among your doubt?

      1. I’d love to read it. But even if you don’t post it, well, first, I’d still love to read it xD, but second make sure someone is blessed by reading it. I’m sure your mom would love it 🙂
