Trusting In The Unseen| Heart Song

This world doesn’t

understand what I know.

But the Lord has a plan

and He is showing me.

That no matter what happens.

His truth will always reign.

Even when I cannot see He can.

So I trust everything He does.

Even when it’s hard.

Even when I’m blind.

He always has a way.

This life questions

oh, so many things.

But I see His handprint

within everything.

Even when I struggle

and I can’t manage

I know that He can.

He is the Living Word.

Living waters that rage

within my burning soul.

God, in Jesus alone,

HE makes me whole.

(ESV) John 14:06, “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

(NASB) Revelation 7:17, “for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

(NIV) Matthew 5:14, “”You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”

This poem was inspired while I listened to the song by Kutless called Shut Me Out

I call these poems heart songs because the words come to me while I listen to the lyrics and music of songs. Often, these poems are prayers, but other times they can be really illustrative. The poems themselves are not meant to be well written or edited heavily. These poems, in particular, are meant to just give God glory. After writing them, if I see something that could inspire others, I like sharing. I hope to share more on this blog.
