Blogger’s Nightmare

Tick.

Tick.

Tick.

Snooze.

Brrrrring! The alarm goes off.

Sitting up straight, Jessica’s hair masks her face. Groggy, she squints at the clock, while wiping the drool off of her cheek. How long had it been?

“No!” She screams.

Today was the day of the blog post. It was supposed to be THE blog post. One she carefully picked out to meticulously work on. One many of her readers would relate to. She envisioned all of the cherished comments and notifications.

Crumpling her hair in her hands, she grumbled.

She had nothing.ย Or so she thought.

Apparently, the previous night she was a bit ambitious thinking she would have the post done by morning, it was SCHEDULED.

And now, to her horror, as the clock struck 9 a.m. the post officially published.

One title and one sentence.

Well…

I got nothing, haha!

(NIV) Matthew 6:34,ย “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

  2. I never schedule anything unless it’s been revised, rewritten and edited to death. But I was away from my blog for a while, busy family-visiting and baby-sitting and flat-clearing with barely time to delete emails, never mind read blog posts. And as for writing them…

But, you know, the world didn’t end when I didn’t post.
In fact I have a suspicion nobody noticed ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

    1. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ you never know!!!! We have a lot of silent viewers. It took me a while to learn that.

I sometimes schedule when a post isn’t ready to push me to get it done. Most of the time it works. Otherwise, I just end the schedule ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…
