God has been teaching me so much with making this blanket and on my main blog, Inside Cup, I’ll be talking about this tomorrow. But for those who have been following the journey of making my blanket.
I GOT THE FOURTH SET DONE!
Each set I do comprises enough squares for two full rows. Now, normally, that would be 30 squares. However, this set I wanted to make almost twice the size. I was really close. Instead of making 15, I had to make 18 big granny squares. (Each row had 9 big granny squares)
I plan to make three more sets of 30 squares each, so I only have 90 left to complete the blanket! My husband jokes, “Only 90?!” Haha!
Here is the project thus far. (Shared from my Instagram)
(NIV) Psalm 90:17, “May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us– yes, establish the work of our hands.”

Do you have any projects you are working on?
It’s beautiful! I’ve made a list of projects I want to get into including crocheting and knitting, but at the moment, I won’t be starting anything new.

Wow! How many hours do you think you’ve spent on that blanket so far? I like the variety in colour. 👍🏻
My biggest project this summer is my blog, but this post made me think I should put aside a little more time for other creative things (like knitting, drawing, painting, etc.). 🙂

Oh, wow! Well one granny square takes me about 30 minutes and the 15 big squares were probably about an hour each about 3,600 minutes which is 60 hours!
Making some time for other projects is great!!! 🙂

Oh and I forgot the hours it took to handsewn them all together. But that gives you an idea at least.
