Or in my case banana popsicles.
After completing a set of goal, or something you have to push yourself through. (Ahem, certain exercises…Denise, I don’t think I can hold this position for 30 more seconds! #whenYouTubeisyourtrainer) It’s nice to have something to look forward to.
It’s important to push ourselves, get things done, and achieve goals.
But is just as important to relish the quiet moments afterward. Whether we accomplished what we wanted or not.
Let’s face it, sometimes, things aren’t going to work out.
That one day you’re two minutes short of that 29-minute workout because your body is like, “If you stand up one more time, so help me.”
Posts go at a scheduled time, but there’s no title, or no pictures, or you know…words.
Stuff reminds me of stuffing and now I’m thinking of double stuffed Oreos.
Sometimes your mind wanders and you ramble. But the point is, even if you lose track, get out that compass, and find the way back.
And don’t forget to treat yourself in the small moments. 😉
