One Country At A Time Help/Suggestions?

I started a series, I believe around November or so, called Learning One Country At A Time.

There were some of you who were really invested into the series, and for the long delay, I do apologize.

My problem with the series is the fact that because I write about 11 posts per week, while working on writing a book series, and then being a housewife as well, I’ve found the series to be quite daunting at times. I usually spend 2-3 days worth of research through reading articles and watching videos.

The cactus is almost out of the picture, like my series. . .

I thought by first making the series every other week, which changed to once a month would help. However, I’m not finding sufficient time to dedicate to the series. I feel I am letting you all down by not thoroughly researching whatever I can find out, as well, of course, not addressing the problems I’m experiencing with this series.

I’m considering dropping the series altogether or perhaps find an alternative that provides information, however in a much shorter format. In general, especially for those of you familiar with my writing, I struggle with short pieces. I feel explanation and thoroughness are key factors in understanding something.

I’ve considered sharing the links to the information I find out, but only sharing (writing about) what interests me the most. The pieces would be much shorter this way but I would still be able to share information.

He’s a hard worker

I love learning, but thorough research for this series has taken away my ambition to write the series, which I do not enjoy admitting, but I want to be honest.

Again, I apologize.

So, I’d love to open it up to you. Do you have any suggestions or thoughts? Are there particular parts of a country you enjoyed learning the most?

Another series? I wrote a post coming out next Sunday titled My Writer Thoughts which cover a particular train of thought I’ve had. I’ve been wanting to incorporate another writing series, and I enjoy talking about writing and thoughts that come to me because of writing.

If I am able to come up with an idea for the series Learning One Country At A Time, I can still have this series appear once a month, but I’m considering other series to have on Sundays.

Have a lovely Sunday or Monday, depending on where you live! 🙂

Thank you all for your support and kindness ❤

I had fun with the picture captions xD

  1. I agree with Lynn in that you ultimately need to do what you think is best. But, I also like A Fractured Faith’s explanation in that oppose to doing countries, do a major city from that country instead.

I feel that you should still do it but make is an occasional series where you know you will have lots of time to research the topic and then post it.

    1. Yes, I think making it an occasional series would definitely be something to do.

I think you’ll like the new series. Of all things, I talk about politics and how that affects writing.
